Born in Pittsburgh and graduated from North Hills High School in 1970.

Married to Diane since 1971.

Associate Degree from Allegheny County Community College in child care.

Co-owner and operator of Barr Child Day Care in West View for 17 years.

Currently employed as a Direct Care Provider for mentally challenged adults since 1994.

Member and former Council President of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church

Have been a candidate for West View Borough Council every election year since 1993.

Resident of Ross Township for 25 years and currently a resident of West View since 1982.

Treasurer and Vice-Chairman of Allegheny County Constitution Party and PA Constitution Party Southwest Regional Chairman.
