Two Prominent Pennsylvanians to address Constitution Party State Meeting in Carlisle on February 21!
State Representative Sam Rohrer
State Representative, Sam Rohrer is amember of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 128th District and was elected in 1992. A graduate of Bob Jones University, he is chairman of the Game and Fisheries Committee. Rohrer has been a strong opponent of the REAL ID Act, and has promoted "private or enhanced public school programs" and has given "uncompromising support for Second Amendment freedoms. During nearly seven hours of House floor debate on both January 28 and 29, Representative Rohrer once again made the case to completely restore the Constitutional right of all Pennsylvania homeowners to be secure in their property by enacting the School Property Tax Elimination Act (House Bill 1275).
Professor Paul Gottfried Elizabethtown University
Paul Gottfried is a noted writer and scholar. Highly recognized, he is the Raffensperger Professor of Humanities at Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, and a Guggenheim recipient. He is also an adjunct scholar of the Mises Institute. Professor Gottfried is a supporter of the Constitution Party and in 2008 he endorsed its Presidential nominee, Chuck Baldwin, for President.
Career
He is the author of numerous books and articles in several languages on intellectual history, paleoconservatism, ancient historiography, and political theory. Gottfried has also been a close friend of important political and intellectual figures including Pat Buchanan, John Lukacs, Christopher Lasch, Robert Nisbet, and Murray Rothbard. He is now writing his memoirs that will deal with his "encounters" with these and other personalities. He is a critic of neoconservatives.

The Constitution Party of Pennsylvania State Committee Meeting will take place at the Hotel Carlisle & Embers Convention Center located at 1700 Harrisburg Pike, Carlisle, PA on February 21, 2009.
Registration Fee: $40.00 per person, $70.00 per couple
The State Executive Committee will meet 12:00 Noon.
The General State Meeting will commence at 2:00PM.
Dinner will be served at 5:30PM.
(Representative Rohrer and Professor Gottfried will speak at the evening dinner portion of the meeting. Constitution Party National Chairman, Jim Clymer, will speak at the General State Meeting and will be discussing the recent campaign and plans for continued growth of the Constitution Party)
